My Internet site features pictures from a range of countries. Most of them are
topically related to Nature; birds, animals and landscapes, shot in the Nordic
countries, Spitsbergen, Antarctica and Africa.
You will also find pictures of other origins: Images from several cultural sites in several countries as well as pictures taken from
some of our voyages.
My principal concern is not to get the maximum paid, rather to have my images displayed to people sharing my own appreciations. This said, I would like to
emphasize the fact that many professional nature photographers are really
struggling making a decent way of living. Some of whom are my friends, and I
will not contribute making inflation by selling at low en prices.

Gentoo penguins are always in a hurry to achieving safety on shore after a long day of collecting food at high seas. A big sea lion, named Adolf, had specialized in catching penguins on their way back to safety in shallow water. He was patrolling back and forth, often in submarine position, always prepared for a blizzard attack. On several occasions he succeeded, tearing the poor bird wide-spread apart using teeth and fierce twist. Sea gulls have adapted to this behavior; they show up quite simultaneously in order to fight for the remainders, generously spread out on the waves. Ref: B8Y8347.

Aquarium fishes are most often beautiful creatures. Discus are no exception. This image is shot in the huge "Akvariemagasinet" in Oslo - the largest store of this kind in Norway.

These beautiful cubs of a Nordic brown bear run quite as fast vertically
towards the top of a big three as they can perform on the ground. This skill is of vital importance as the threat from adult males is one of the main reasons for
the young ones not to survive their first year of living.
